I have decided to get in better shape and start with a month (4 weeks) of intense diet and weight loss.
This hasn't been an easy journey for me. 2017 was full of unpleasant surprises and loss. The result was a decrease in my psychological and physical health. Overall it was not a pretty picture. But I survived the year and it's time for me to move on.
I looked into several options and decided that Brian Flatt's plan was the best for me. I have considered trying a little bit of a slower way to lose weight, but I don't see the point in messing around and only dropping a few pounds here and there. It's time for me to take on this problem (fat) with some intensity and get this show in the road.
I will be doing the 4 week diet. I'm not saying everyone should do diet and exercise my way, but this is best for me, and I know it. I like the way Flatt has set up this diet and I have talked to one of my buddies (a fitness guru and gym rat) about it. He said it should work if I follow it meticulously. He also told me he'd help me set up a more long-term lifestyle change in the future. This will include going to the gym regularly and learning how to eat in a more healthy way (higher protein, less junk food, etc.) Note: this is the diet I'll follow: musclereview.net/4-week-diet-review-brian-flatt/
But for now it's time for me to stop messing around and really attack the issue of my expanding waistline and tight clothes. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can accomplish in a relatively short period of time. We'll see where this goes, but I think this will be a healthier and lighter year for me.
